Mughni is one of the most historic and picturesque villages in Armenia, situated in the Aragatsotn Province near Ashtarak and approximately 35 kilometers northwest of Yerevan. Sights of Mughni

The most important landmark is the Saint Gevorg Monastery of Mughni, a 17th-century monastery dedicated to Saint George. It is a fine example of Armenian church architecture, built from dark tuff stone and featuring a large central dome, carved decorations, and a strong fortress-like appearance. The monastery was historically an important pilgrimage site and remains a spiritual center today.
